According to tradition, whoever finds a bean is crowned, while the one who finds a dry bean is honored with paying for the cake the next year. In the afternoon, included excursion: guided tour of Cádiz and its Christmas market. Depart on foot to the historic center of Cádiz. Located at the tip of a peninsula, Cádiz extends in the heart of a coastal area of lagoons, beaches, and salt marshes. Once coveted by the Phoenicians, Greeks, and other peoples, this white city has retained the charming feel of its historic center, full of life. The winding streets of the medieval district and the more orderly ones of the Baroque part give it undeniable appeal. You will also be charmed by the lovely Christmas market of Cádiz, where sweet aromas of spices and handcrafted products fill the air. At nightfall, the city transforms into a true light display, with numerous colorful garlands and Christmas decorations highlighting the spectacular architecture. In the evening, you will be immersed in the Andalusian festive atmosphere with a demonstration of Christmas carols, including the emblematic "Feliz Navidad". This moment evokes the tradition of the "coros", these groups of singers spreading joy from home to home through their singing. You will discover how Mantecados, these little crumbly cakes rich in flavor and history, are made. They are a must during the Christmas celebrations in Spain. Rooted in Andalusian gastronomy since the 16th century, these wonderful pastries originated between the cities of Estepa and Antequera. Once, houses were transformed into Mantecados factories in Estepa, reflecting the cradle of the tradition in the town. Gradually, Mantecados spread throughout the country and remain today a symbol of sharing during Christmas.

In the afternoon, included excursion: guided tour of the Palacio de las Dueñas. Located in the Feria district, the palace was built between the 15th and 16th centuries and combines Mudejar, Gothic, and Renaissance styles. It includes several buildings, courtyards, and gardens. You will discover the stables, the lemon tree courtyard where the great poet Antonio Machado was born, the main courtyard with numerous artworks and decorative elements, and the gypsy salon, the center of social life in this house, adorned with a sculpture by Mariano Benlliure. Several rooms illustrate the pillars of Andalusian culture: bullfighting, religion, and flamenco.

Full-day included excursion: Visit to Córdoba and its mosque-cathedral. Depart by coach from Seville for the excursion to Córdoba (2-hour drive each way). Guided tour of the city. Lunch at a restaurant. Córdoba, once the capital of the Emirs and Caliphs, located on the north bank of the Guadalquivir, is a living example of the diverse cultures that expressed themselves there. A successful harmony between Muslim, Jewish, and Catholic peoples that marked the city with incomparable architectural richness. The magnificent Mezquita (mosque-cathedral) is undoubtedly the emblem of this past splendor. You can admire its wonderful Christmas Nativity scene that will fill the place with the spirit of Christmas. Afternoon free. Return to the ship in Seville. Gala evening.
