Overview
Rhine in Flames has been enchanting thousands of visitors on the banks of the river since 1977. The city of Oberwesel is part of the festivities drawing crowds from all over the world. Climb aboard for a sparkling and unforgettable cruise! This vacation is also agreat time to discover or even rediscover must-see sites such as the famous Drosselgasse in Rüdesheim and the romantic Heidelberg Castle overlooking the Neckar River. Take a break that is jam-packed with fairytale-like landscapes, impressive hills dotted with charming vineyards, and castle ruins sitting above at every turn.
Itinerary
STRASBOURG - RUDESHEIM - KOBLENZ - OBERWESEL - MANNHEIM - STRASBOURG
Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Our ship will sail through the night.
The morning will be spent cruising. Upon reaching Rüdesheim, join us for the optional excursions proposed:
- CLASSIC: Tour on a tourist train and stop at a wine tasting cellar, followed by a visit to the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments.
- DISCOVERY: We'll go to the center of Rüdesheim to catch a gondola lift to the Niederwalddenkmal, and hike through the vineyards.
In the evening, the famous "Drosselgasse" awaits you with its numerous guinguettes and orchestras.
Cruise up the most beautiful part of the romantic Rhine between Rüdesheim and Koblenz. We will pass numerous castles nestling in the famed vineyards and the celebrated rock of the Lorelei. Arriving in Koblenz in the early afternoon. Take a tour of the old town with the ship's host or hostess. Return on board and sailing towards Oberwesel.
In the evening, take part in the unique fairytale spectacle of the Romantic Rhine as it lights up on a summer's night, creating an unreal and majestic atmosphere for an unforgettable evening.
The morning will be spent cruising towards Mannheim. Join us on an optional excursion CLASSIC / DISCOVERY: Visit of Heidelberg. Its high quality of life comes through to visitors, who feel genuinely at home here. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner. Our ship will sail towards Strasbourg.
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
